Moderate-strong intensity diffuse/synaptic-type immunostaining is noticed throughout the entire forebrain, which is especially pronaunced in the lateral septum and hippocampus.
In the brainstem, the staining is rahter restrited to certain gray matter areas like the periaqueductal gray matter, substantia nigra and interpeduncular nucleus, dorsal-median raphe, dorsal gray matter region of the medulla (including parabrachial-locus coeruleus region).
In the cerebellum, the molecular layer exhibits moderate-intensity diffuse/synaptic-type immunostaining.
