In agreement with literature data, this antibody stains the dopmaminergic (A8-16), noradrenergic (A1-7) and adrenergic (C1-C3) neuronal cell bodies and their dendrites and axonal arborization throughout the brain.
Besides of cell bodies in A1-16 and C1-3 groups, strong axonal staining is noticed in the glomerular layer of the olfactory bulb, caudate putamen, nucleus accumbens, olfactory tubercule and basolateral amygdala.
Weak-moderate axonal staining is noticed in the cortex, hippocampus, (lateral) septum, BNST, hypothalamus, -, external-internal plexiform layers and granular layer of the olfactory bulb, periaqueductal gray matter, parabrachial region and cerebellar molecular layer.
