Abundant staining, neuronal subpopulations (soma), processes and synapses are stained. Cell body staining is particularly strong in a subset of neocortical neurons, in the globus pallidus, tuberal hypothalamus, amygdala nuclei, hippocampus CA1-2 and in multiple brainstem nuclei.

Manually selected location of the protein positivity, observed by immunofluorescence staining in mouse brain.
Soma, dendrite and synapse in neurons.
Purkinje cells in cerebellum, cell bodies and processes.
