Cadherin-15 (CDH15) RNA is almost exclusively found in human cerebellum and skeletal muscle tissue. In the mouse, it is selectively expressed in the granular layer of Cerebellum, although weaker signal was also detected in molecular layer and Purkinje cells. Outside Cerebellum, the protein was found in choroid plexus and meninges.
