Moderate-strong diffuse-synaptic imunostaining is noticed throughout the entire forebrain. This diffuse-synaptic staining pattern is, however, restricted only to a few nuclei in the brainstem (like to the substantia nigra and periaqueductal gray matter) as well as to the cerebellar molecular layer.
In addition, moderate-strong staining of neuronal cell bodies (seemingly associated with the cell membrane, or enriched adjacent to the cell membrane) is noticed in the thalamus, medial geniculate nucleus and cerebellar Purkinje cells.
Area postrema exhibits very strong immunoreactivity.
