Moderate-low intensity somatic (nuclear+cytoplasmic) immunoreactivity is noticed in the vast majority of neurons. Some thalamic nuclei, hypothalamus, retromamillary nucleus, periaqueductal gray matter, muliple brainstem nuclei and cerebellar Purkinje-cells exhibit stronger intensity staining. Immunoreactivity of neocortical neurons is stronger in the more caudal cortical regions.
Choroid plexus cells are immunoractive.
