Broad and general neuronal somatic cytoplasmic and dendritic staining with high staining intensities throughout the brain. In some areas however, in contrast to the rest of the brain, the general neuronal staining intensity is low and only small subsets of neurons stained intensely (like mitral cells in the olfactory bulb, Purkinje cells in the cerebellum, CA2-3 pyramidal layer neurons and gyrus dentate polymorph layer neurons in the hippocampus, a small subset of neurons in the caudate putamen).
Plexus choroideus cells are also stained.
